Kelly is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and has a passion for food and fitness. She believes in a balanced approach to food and wellness, incorporating protein, vegetables, and indulgences like salted caramel. She struggled with food and body image for a decade, but now on her website, she shares healthy and delicious recipes that promote balance, along with macro tracking tips and nutrition education.
After moving to Austin, Kelly started to Eat the Gains to document her healthy recipes. Her eating habits and diet have evolved over the past ten years, from a typical teenager’s diet to overexercising and undereating in college and experimenting with various fad diets. However, she ultimately realized that balance is key and that she wants to help others find balance in their own lives as well.
Kelly hopes to inspire others to focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods that make them feel their best, without specifically removing food groups. She emphasizes the importance of listening to your body and finding what works for you, whether it's enjoying Friday night pizza or spicy margaritas.
