Liz's Healthy Table

Liz is passionate about making family mealtime fun, flavorful, and healthy for everyone. Her website, Liz’s Healthy Table, serves as a platform where she shares her wholesome recipes and mealtime wisdom through blog posts, cooking videos, and podcasts. Liz’s ultimate goal is to encourage families to enjoy good food and to provide resources to help them achieve this goal. Whether one has a toddler, a teen, or anyone in between, Liz warmly welcomes them to her table and hopes they will find her resources helpful.

As a registered dietitian nutritionist, Liz has been devoted to healthy food, family nutrition, and vibrant living for over 30 years. She considers it her mission, not just a job, to help people discover the joy of wholesome and delicious food. Liz has two grown boys, Josh and Simon, and as a mother, she understands the daily grind of packing lunches, making endless trips to the grocery store, planning meals, and managing fussy eating. Liz is happy to report that the journey was fulfilling and fun, and her boys grew up to be adventurous eaters. After five family cookbooks, free recipes, online resources, and hundreds of podcast episodes, Liz has shifted her culinary and nutrition focus to a new topic that is close to her heart: longevity.

Liz believes in living an anti-aging lifestyle that involves moving our bodies more and choosing foods that fight conditions such as heart disease, and cancer, bolster brain health and sharpen vision. She practices what she preaches and tries to maintain a real food philosophy, which emphasizes adding food groups to the diet, rather than taking them away. Liz craves simplicity, colorful fruits and vegetables, and easy-to-find everyday ingredients that make mealtime a breeze.

In addition, she completed an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island, a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Communications from Boston University, and the professional Chef’s Program at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Liz is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and two of their practice groups: Food & Culinary Professionals and Nutrition Entrepreneurs.
