Love & Loathing LA is a lifestyle blog founded by Caroline based in Los Angeles, California. The blog covers a variety of topics, including food, fashion, and entertainment, all of which serve to inspire the city's creative community and showcase Los Angeles as the City of Angels. Caroline, a competitive ice cream eater, and self-proclaimed professional facial expressionist was born on Christmas Eve 30 years ago in Austin, Texas, where she lived for one year before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically Danville. There, she enjoyed hobbies such as horse riding, painting, and being generally overdramatic.
Caroline attended Chapman University in Orange County from 2007 to 2011, where she received her bachelor's degree in Art. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for creative arts. Seven years later, she is still in love with the city, eating and drinking her way through its best restaurants and bars, attending exclusive events, and experiencing all that the city has to offer within its 503 square miles. Caroline founded Love & Loathing LA in 2013 with the aim of shedding a positive light on Los Angeles, a city that lacks a positive image. In the years since, the blog has grown into a valuable resource for those looking to explore and appreciate the city's diverse culture, from food and fashion to entertainment and beyond.
