Anne is a Registered Dietitian and a mother who has been running a blog since 2009. She enjoys demonstrating to others that eating nutritious foods and staying active can be a pleasurable experience instead of a daunting task. When she is not blogging or cooking for her blog. Anne can be found engaging in activities such as running, coaching nutrition clients, or embarking on family adventures. Anne's aim is to make it clear that maintaining a healthy lifestyle does not have to be complicated and can even be fun.

Anne holds a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Registered Dietitian (RD). She is also a marathon runner, yoga enthusiast, and lover of the outdoors, travel, and creating healthy recipes. Anne resides in the Washington, DC area with her husband and two children. Her blog is a compilation of daily life updates, easy recipes, quick meal ideas, running and race recaps, experiences in motherhood, active travel, nutrition tips, and more.

In addition to blogging, Anne runs a private nutrition counseling practice located in northern Virginia, where she helps clients improve their relationships with food through an intuitive eating approach. Besides sharing healthy and easy recipes, Anne also writes about her life journey on the blog. She started fANNEtastic food in 2009 as a single woman, and it served as a medium to document her experiences of going back to graduate school to become a Registered Dietitian.
