Leticia is the founder of Tech Savvy Mama, an award-winning website that has been providing helpful information to parents about digital parenting since 2008. As an experienced technology, education, and parenting blogger, she has combined her knowledge of child development, psychology, education, and technology to provide useful advice for families. Along with managing this site, Leticia also teaches middle school computer science.
Having earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University and a Master of Science in School Administration and Technology Leadership from Johns Hopkins University, Leticia is passionate about using her background in teaching and parenting to empower parents in fostering a love of STEM in their children. She has been a columnist and her writing has been syndicated on Scholastic Parents and Common-Sense Media.
In addition, Leticia has been recognized for her work as a blogger. When not working on her blog or teaching, Leticia enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, two teens, a Golden Retriever Labrador rescue, and a growing flock of backyard chickens.
